“Unfortunately, there are no mobile homes left.” In 2026, we had to say this far too often—even to regulars who’ve been coming to us in Cannobio for years. That’s why we’re building: at the start of the season in mid-March 2027, eleven new mobile homes will be added, nine in Premium standard and two Standard mobile homes. Bookings for 2027 open on December 1, 2026.
Where the new mobile homes are located
The new accommodations are being built on the former long-term campers’ terrace. From there, you’ll have a view across the whole of Lake Maggiore, and as with all our accommodations, the lake view comes at no extra charge. Depending on location, it’s a one- to two-minute walk to our 300-meter private beach.
From 2027, we’ll have a total of 18 Premium mobile homes and 8 Standard mobile homes. So if you’re looking for a mobile home on Lake Maggiore, you’ll have significantly more choice. And if you missed out with us before, your chances are now better.
9 Premium mobile homes with two real bedrooms
The largest share consists of nine Premium mobile homes on Lake Maggiore. They’re designed for couples and families who want a bit more comfort:
- two full bedrooms
- larger bathroom with shower and toilet
- covered terrace with garden furniture and a view of the lake
- space for up to five people, with a maximum of four adults
- air conditioning and heating available for an extra charge
We keep the Premium mobile homes pet-free, so allergy sufferers can also find a mobile home in Cannobio where they’ll sleep well.
2 Standard mobile homes: affordable and dog-friendly
In addition, there are two Standard mobile homes. They also have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single and bunk bed, plus a large kitchen and a covered wooden veranda. Our Standard mobile homes are already a few years old, but we renovate them continuously. This makes them the most affordable way to stay right by the lake with us—ideal for families with children and for anyone traveling with a dog.
The existing Standard mobile homes are also getting a significant upgrade. Over the past few years, we’ve refurnished all of them from the ground up: new floors, new kitchens, new wood paneling, and large wooden terraces. This winter, all Standard mobile homes will also get new shower cubicles and new interior doors.
Why a mobile home by the lake is so popular
A mobile home combines camping with the comfort of a small holiday apartment. You don’t need a tent, caravan, or motorhome—you travel light and still have your own bedrooms, your own bathroom, and a kitchen. Breakfast is enjoyed on the terrace, dinner there or with us at the restaurant. The kids explore the beach and the grounds, the parents have their own retreat, and everyone always has Lake Maggiore in view.
Vacation with Your Dog on Lake Maggiore
Your dog is welcome with us in the Standard mobile homes, in the holiday apartments, and on the pitches—including the two new Standard mobile homes. On the private beach and in the lake, dogs are welcome on a leash. There’s a free dog shower on site, and you can pick up waste bags at reception.
A holiday with your dog is easy to plan around Cannobio too: walks along the lake promenade, hiking trails into the Valle Cannobina, and a vet in town. You’ll find more information on our page Holidays with your dog on Lake Maggiore.
What else awaits you with us
Lakeview Cannobio is located on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, right next to a nature reserve and just a few kilometers from the Swiss border. Besides mobile homes, we offer holiday apartments and pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. On site, we have a restaurant with a bar and a bread delivery service, and at the beach we rent out SUPs, kayaks, pedal boats, and motorboats. Our eFoil school is well known far beyond Italy. If you’re arriving with your own boat, you can rent a mooring buoy from us.
Cannobio’s old town, with its lake promenade and Sunday market, is close by, as are excursion destinations such as the Valle Cannobina, Locarno, and Ascona. Our season runs from mid-March to early November.
Booking opens on December 1, 2026
From December 1, 2026, you’ll be able to book our mobile homes for the 2027 season directly here on our website. The new mobile homes can’t be selected individually: they’re added to the existing ones and can be booked alongside them. Our regular guests get access a few days earlier and can secure their mobile home before general bookings open.
