Volpi the sly Lakeview fox
Our mascot “Volpi”, the clever Lakeview fox, will be accompanying young guests at Lakeview Cannobio from the 2024 season. Together with teachers, we have designed Volpi’s coloring book and Volpi’s puzzle book, both of which are available free of charge (including crayons to borrow) for guests of the Lakeview Restaurant. Camping guests outside the restaurant can obtain Volpi books at the reception desk at cost price. In future, Volpi will constantly accompany our expansions and promote child-friendly innovations. He always makes sure that we take good care of the environment in which he lives – the forests around Lakeview.
Our private beach
Several hundred meters of absolutely private lake access are part of Cannobio Lakeview Camping & Resort. Enjoy the day with the family directly at the lake, on our well-kept lawn and under shady trees.
We offer (seasonally) various sports equipment such as SUP and kayaks for hire, naturally with safety vests for children too. Comfortable picnic tables and Lakeview lounge chairs are available for our guests free of charge. For water sports enthusiasts and boaters, we offer the option of hiring your own buoys.
Our playgrounds
We are parents ourselves and know that a playground is basic equipment. Everywhere.
Right by the lake on the sunbathing lawn you will find “Volpi’s Ninja Slackline” between the trees: perfect for small and big climbing adventures! Volpi’s large adventure playground also ensures fun on the beach and relaxed family days.
You will also find Volpi’s climbing playground within sight of the Lakeview Lounge. Enjoy a delicious cappuccino with a perfect lake view in our lounge while the kids play within sight!
Our sanitary facilities
With the renovation in 2023, we have created a separate “Bambini bathroom” for our little guests: with a child-friendly toilet, washbasin and shower. You will find Volpi’s Bambini bathroom in the sanitary facilities next to the mobile homes, above the Lakeview Restaurant.
