Volpi the sly Lakeview fox
Our mascot "Volpi", the clever Lakeview fox, has been accompanying young guests at Lakeview Cannobio since 2024. Together with teachers, we have designed Volpi's coloring book and Volpi's puzzle and riddle book. Both are available free of charge for guests of the Lakeview Restaurant (incl. crayons for borrowing). Camping guests outside the restaurant can purchase Volpi's books at cost price at the reception. In the future, Volpi will continuously accompany our expansions and promote child-friendly innovations. He always keeps in mind that we treat the environment in which he lives – the forests around Lakeview – with care.
Our private beach
Several hundred meters of private lake access belong to Lakeview Cannobio Camping & Resort. The beach slopes gently into the water for the first few meters, and there's space for playing and relaxing on the well-maintained sunbathing lawn and under shady trees.
We seasonally rent out SUPs and kayaks, and life jackets are also available in children's sizes. Picnic tables and Lakeview sun loungers are provided free of charge.
Our playgrounds
We are parents ourselves and know that a playground is basic equipment. Everywhere.
Right by the lake on the sunbathing lawn, you'll find "Volpi's Ninja Slackline" between the trees: perfect for climbing adventures for all ages! Volpi's large adventure playground also ensures fun on the beach and relaxed family days.
You will also find Volpi's climbing playground within sight of the Lakeview Lounge. Enjoy a delicious cappuccino with a perfect lake view in our lounge while the children play within sight!
Our sanitary facilities
With the 2023 renovation, we created a dedicated "children's bathroom" for our young guests: with a child-friendly toilet, washbasin, and shower. You will find Volpi's children's bathroom in the sanitary facilities near the mobile homes, above the Lakeview Restaurant.
