Wonderwood high ropes course (Trarego, IT)

You'll need about 30 minutes to drive from Lakeview Cannobio, and your own car, as this excursion is hardly accessible by public transport. From Cannobio, drive a short distance to Cannero Riviera, turn off and follow the signs to Trarego. Wonderwood is signposted from Cannero onwards.

After about 30 minutes you'll reach Wonderwood, in the middle of nowhere, among forests and rocks, with magnificent views and impressive silence. Of course, only until the small but excellent park opens, because then excited children's voices dominate the soundscape. The drive alone is actually worth the trip, as you'll have a fantastic view over Lake Maggiore along the way.

High ropes course for young and old

Wonderwood is a huge playground, but above all an impressive natural high ropes course among the trees. What sounds like fun for children is actually a challenge even for experienced adults. The Wonderwood courses offer different levels of difficulty, and the highest is really tough: at a height of around 10 m, the obstacles are not easy to master. The subsequent descent with the Wonderwood Flying Fox / Zipline rewards adventurers young and old for their efforts! In addition to the ropes course, Wonderwood also offers playgrounds, electric mini Land Rovers and a restaurant.

Children up to 3 years: An exciting adventure awaits the little explorers in the really beautiful playground for the little ones.
Children from 3 years to 110 cm: Three exciting trails are available for the little ones, where the children can be accompanied by their parents. In addition, the "Mini Land Rovers" offer lots of fun for small children on an off-road track.
Children from 110 to 139 cm: Three high ropes courses are available for children from 110 cm, whereby children under 125 cm must be accompanied by a person over 140 cm. Children over 125 cm may climb these three courses alone.
Children of 140 cm and over: There are a total of five courses available here, the highest of which is around 10 m high and therefore really impressively high! The approx. 65 m long "Wonderfly Zipline" ends the highest course with a special adrenaline rush!

Our opinion

Wonderwood is a fairly new, beautifully designed high ropes adventure park that can be recommended with a clear conscience! Safety is a top priority at Wonderwood, the guides are multilingual and the equipment is new and good. The entire facility makes a well-maintained and well-kept impression. It's located very picturesquely in the mountains and is complemented by the Grotto Carza. Local specialties are served here, always with a view of the climbing facility and playgrounds. Outdoor seating rounds off the offer, where families can spend several lovely hours together. The prices are fair, and online reservation is recommended. With the "Wonderpass Plus" you can come a second time within 14 days. A very attractive option for a longer holiday at Lake Maggiore at Lakeview Cannobio!

In autumn: WonderBoo

In autumn, the park transforms into a world of pumpkins and scarecrows with "WonderBoo", in 2026 from October 3 to November 1. A great tip for families during the autumn holidays.
