Together with a regional partner, we have established the exclusive Lakeview Watersports School at Lakeview Cannobio's private beach. Here, beginners to advanced learners can progress from their first steps on a SUP to a wild ride on an eFoil or Wingfoil. With state-of-the-art training equipment, skilled and experienced coaches, and optimal conditions on Lake Maggiore!

You can book courses at the Lakeview Cannobio reception; preliminary discussions with the coaches are also possible. Do you have special requests? Our coaches offer individual programs, from private lessons to events for large groups. Just ask us!

SUP Course in Cannobio

SUP (stand-up paddling) is probably the most relaxed way to move on the water. Sitting or standing, you glide along. Suitable for young and old, tall or small, athletes or not. SUP truly excites everyone – and Lake Maggiore is perfectly suited for it. The Lakeview Cannobio Watersports School offers beginner courses in groups, and we’re happy to welcome families too. If you’d like to head out on your own afterwards, you can rent a SUP from us.

Learn Wingfoil on Lake Maggiore

The wind conditions on Lake Maggiore, and especially at Lakeview Cannobio Resort, are ideal for wingfoiling: you race across the lake on a foilboard (a board with an underwater wing), propelled only by the wind you catch with a wing. The Lakeview Cannobio Watersports School offers courses for beginners and advanced riders, one-to-one or in groups.

eFoil Course in Cannobio

This trend sport, currently not permitted on Swiss lakes, is available as a course at Lakeview Cannobio’s Watersports School. You glide across the lake on an electrically powered eFoil. With perfect weight distribution, the board lifts out of the water and you hover about half a meter above Lake Maggiore on just one wing! We offer courses for beginners and advanced riders, as one-to-one lessons only. Read more about our boards and the Try & Fly events in our eFoil Center.

Which course is right for me?

The SUP course is ideal for beginners and families. Wingfoil and eFoil require a bit more balance and stamina, but the coaches tailor the lessons to your level. In summer, the lake is often mirror-smooth in the morning – perfect for SUP and eFoil – while in the afternoon, the wind often picks up for wingfoiling.

All courses offered here are arranged by Lakeview Cannobio through our external Lakeview instructors. These are trained and approved coaches with many years of experience and hundreds of courses delivered. The contractual relationship is established directly with the coach; Lakeview Cannobio SRL acts only as an intermediary and accepts no liability for accidents, cancellations, damage, etc. Please note that watersports can be risky, and act accordingly. Participation is not possible under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants, or in the case of other impairments. The decision rests solely with the coaches.
