Electric car charging in Cannobio and the Lake Maggiore region
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to charge an electric car directly at Lakeview: we are still waiting for the necessary permits to expand the power supply. No electric cars may be connected to the power grid available on the pitches, in the mobile homes, and in the vacation apartments, as the fuses are not suitable for this.

Public charging stations in Cannobio
However, this is not a problem, as there are many public charging stations directly in Cannobio; one is shown as an example on the map. These are wallboxes with 11 kW or 22 kW, mostly from Enel X, which usually work with international charging cards. We have tested it with EnBW and EWE Go charging cards, but our guests report that almost all charging cards work.
It is usually slightly cheaper to download the Enel app "Enel X Way" and charge through it. Enel offers a tariff without a basic fee, and you can even pay with PayPal.
Tesla Superchargers on the way to Cannobio
You will also find two Tesla Superchargers before arriving at our resort, on the direct route coming from the north: one in Locarno, Via Vincenzo Vela 5, and one between the highway exit and Lakeview in Cadenazzo, Via Stazione 10. Both have 4 charging points each with up to 250 kW and, according to Tesla, are also open to other electric cars with a CCS connection (as of 2026).
Fast charging in Gravellona Toce and Verbania
You can combine a shopping trip with a fast charging station in Gravellona Toce at the Centro le Isole shopping center: there are 4 Ewiva fast chargers in front of the shopping center, which can be paid for directly by card or also work with international charging cards. There are also two 50 kW chargers from Enel X in the rear parking lot of the shopping center.

Which charging card to use in Italy?
In general, you are almost always on the safe side in Italy with your charging card from home, provided it is activated for international roaming. Otherwise, the "Enel X Way" app is a good alternative, and Enel is currently probably the most widespread charging provider in Italy.
