Just over 45 minutes from Lakeview Cannobio Camping & Resort, at the foot of Monte Tamaro in Rivera, is the Splash e Spa Tamaro. The bath is open 365 days a year and is therefore our salvation for rainy days on Lake Maggiore.

Slides, wave pool and warm outdoor pool

The salvation for a rainy day on Lake Maggiore: water slides, wave pool, large play area for smaller children, thermal pool with massage jets and lots of wellness. The Splash & Spa Tamaro swimming pool at the foot of Monte Tamaro is absolutely suitable for spending a whole day there. The water slides are modern and cool, for example small halfpipes or upside down on a "slide carpet".

The warm outdoor pool is for those who enjoy the beautiful view: on summer days you can see the splendor of Monte Tamaro, on winter days sometimes snowy landscapes. Always accompanied by the pleasant bubbling of the warm massage jets.

Children's area, food and pool bar

The wave pool of Splash Spa Tamaro brings fun for young and old, right next to it is the very nice children's play area with water cannons, small slides and fountains, and comfortable lounging cushions for parents. The culinary offer is typical for swimming pools: sausage, fries, nuggets, pizza, pasta, but all of good quality. The bar in the warm wellness pool of the Splash & Spa is a highlight: you don't have to leave the pool for a drink, you can sit in the warm water and enjoy a cold drink, a cocktail or a coffee. You always have the children well in view, because the bath is well laid out by the round structure to keep a good overview despite the size.

Prices and Opening Hours

Prices are typically expensive in Switzerland, both for the bath and for food and drink: adults pay from 27 francs, children from 6 to 15 years from 21 francs, and families from 56 francs (as of 2026). It is open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:45 PM, the slides start at 12:00 PM. However, the Splash e Spa swimming pool is definitely worth the money and a visit is recommended.

Combine with Monte Tamaro and Foxtown

If you are looking for other activities afterwards: The valley station of the Monte Tamaro cable car is located directly next to the Splash & Spa, and combined tickets for the swimming pool and Monte Tamaro are offered at reduced prices. About 20 minutes further you will find the Foxtown factory outlet, a huge outlet center in Mendrisio.

Getting there from Cannobio

By car, you drive via Locarno and Bellinzona towards Lugano to Rivera, which takes a good 45 minutes. For the Swiss motorway, you need a vignette. Rivera also has a train station (Rivera-Bironico), only a few hundred meters from the bath.
